Description: Our hotel style lodge offers double, triple,
quad and executive rooms. Each room includes private bath,
closet and dresser.
A breezeway provides enclosed access to the dining room, pool
and auditorium.
Cabins
Capacity: 9 per cabin, 21 cabins, 200 total capacity
Description: Our youth cabins house up to 9 people
in bunk beds [two larger cabins are available with increased
capacities (up to 15 each).] All cabins have heat, lights
and an outlet, but no bathrooms or showers. Bathhouses with
showers are walking distance from the cabins.

Description: A historic log cabin located on the side
of Minnie Lake with a spectacular view of the Continental
Divide from the front porch. Interior of cabin has been fully
remodeled and includes kitchen with all modern appliances,
living room, master bedroom, additional bedroom, private bathroom,
and washer/dryer.
Crow
& Piute
Capacity: 3 per Cabin
Description: These newly remodeled cabins feature several
upgrades from our standard youth cabins; they are conveniently
located next to Rustic and feature wood floors, linens, radio
alarm clock, a double bed, a bunk bed and a heater.
RV
Sites
Capacity: 7 spaces |
Description: Some sites are available with electrical
hookups, but most are self-contained only. Fire pits are useable
when a county fire ban is not in effect. Dead & down fire
wood is easy to find in the nearby forest.
Camping
Capacity: as much as needed
Features: some fire pits, outhouse toilets
Description: Primitive undeveloped campsites on the
GVR Outback offer the authentic Colorado camping experience.
Fire pits available in some areas and camp fires are allowed
unless a county fire ban exists. Outhouse toilets are available
in our main camping area and in the Outback.

The
Long House
Capacity: 200
Features: Kitchen, Stage, Fireplace
Description: The Long House is a multipurpose meeting
space for groups up to 250. It features a 20'x12' stage with
a fireplace behind, an open floor, folding chairs or folding
tables, the Long House has been used for assemblies, catered
banquets, church services, presentations and outpost/base
camp staging. Sound system is included. The kitchen has a
stove/oven, refrigerator, freezer, triple sink and serving
bar that opens to the Long House main area.

Capacity: 30
Description: Smaller than our Lodge Conference room,
this meeting area is perfect for a smaller group; it is located
in our Pool building (with covered access to the Lodge, Aspen
Grove Cafe, and the Auditorium) with tables and chairs. There
is an area on the wall for projection and a small basic sound
system is available. Data projector is sometimes available,
but at an extra cost.
Campfire
Bowl
Capacity: 200
Features: Outdoor amphitheater overlooking lake
Description: The Campfire Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater
with a stage and controlled stage lighting. It is an ideal
setting for evening programming when the weather is comfortable.
Bench seating over the natural granite and gravel surface
accommodates groups up to 200.

Features: Indoor Junior-Olympic Pool, Indoor Spas,
Locker Rooms, Meeting Room
Description: Warm (usually 80-82 degrees) indoor 100,000
gallon pool is 6.5' deep with a slide. Two 600 gallon, 102-104
degree spas are a great way to relax. Each spa accommodates
up to 6 people (18+ only) at a time. Covered access connects
to the Auditorium, Cafeteria and Lodge. Groups provide your
own lifeguard(s) for users under 18. Men's and women's locker
rooms feature 2 showers and 9 lockers in each.

Conference Room

Description: The Conference room features
a comfortable meeting space with a fireplace and direct access
to the lodge rooms. It is ideal for presentations & meetings
for small to medium size groups. Three large stairwell landings
work well for small group breakout areas. Sound system is
available, although the Conference Room is a small enough
space that many groups opt not to use it. TV/VCR, projection
screen, whiteboard and overhead projector are included. Data
projector is sometimes available, but at an extra cost.

Description: Located on the 3rd floor, adjacent
to the Conference Room, the Lodge Kitchen is ideal for providing

for smaller groups who want to cook for themselves.

Available in the Lodge, Cafe, and Rustic Cabin. A guest computer
is also available in the lobby for internet access and limited
printing.
